mainman7: My thoughts.. When you are comparing countries, I don't think it's best to compare with countries you are far better than in minerals, finance etc If you want to compare, compare with the countries you are of equal in terms of resources etc Eg.. if we want to compare how better we have improved in terms of petroleum, we look at countries or African countries producing oil like us and compare the differences, how far we've gone... thanks |

This guy and his principal BAT are really CORNfused. The same guy was telling the world few days ago that the price is determined by market forces, and yesterday he was telling Nigerians that there will be no more increase in the price of petroleum. What happened to market forces or are they trying to re-introduced subsidy? Mad people in govt and their agbado supporters. The good thing is that we are all buying the fuel at 600. 1 Like |

Useless government and its cronies, why must it be a list of west African states? How many major oil producers are there in west Africa? why was Angola not put on that list, there are only choosing the narratives that fits their description, bunch of rogues in power. Recently as subsidies were taken out in Nigeria, it was also taken out in Angola. Angola as a major oil producing state like Nigeria Fuel prices before subsidy was 165 kwanza ( N152 ) when subsidy was taken out it rose to 300 Kwanza ( N276 ) a percentage increase of over 80. There were massive rejections, protest and condemnation in Angola regarding the increase. Nigeria on the other hand took it from N185 pre-subsidy removal to N610 post-subsidy removal, averaging over 350% increase, and some greedy marketers and government crooks are still angling for more increase. Some evil and useless stakeholders will come online and tell us we are paying less, so we should be grateful. Imagine! Bunch of miscreants in power! I weep for this country! |

Re: Petrol In Nigeria Cheapest, Most Affordable In West Africa - Ajuri Ngelale by CSTRR: 8:49am On Aug 16, 2023 |
This hustler with his annoying opinion. We are the largest producer of oil and gas in Africa. If we cannot benefit from our oil and gas ,then what else are we going to benefit from? We are already paying far more for petrol than we should. |
Re: Petrol In Nigeria Cheapest, Most Affordable In West Africa - Ajuri Ngelale by Glolekzy: 8:49am On Aug 16, 2023 |
Ngelale is comparing Nigeria's PMS price at #600+/ltr to Senegal's PMS price at #1200+/ltr but he failed to compare the minimum wage of both countries. The minimum wage in Nigeria today is around #30,000 while in Senegal is somewhere around #90,000 |

Out of all this countries mentioned above , how many of them has petroleum crude oil and Natural Gas as their main natural resources. This is a pure Wickedness and very heartless statement & thought pattern, even in the face of a struggling and dying economy. No empathy for the citizens at all! Poor Nigerians life should be sacrificed due to your many years of corruption, mismanagement, impunity and lack of respect for human lives Nigerians, why have we done this to ourselves . This is pathetic!! |
Re: Petrol In Nigeria Cheapest, Most Affordable In West Africa - Ajuri Ngelale by themanderon: 9:02am On Aug 16, 2023 |
Nigerian politicians both past and present deserve a place on the hottest parts of hell for all their lies and criminality. Look at the countries they are comparing us with and tell how many of them are oil producers. They will not compare minimum wages in functional countries with what the price of fuel is but would be quick to tell you fuel is cheap with the nonsense they are paying as minimum wage. Even if they sell at 5k per litre they will still say its the cheapest in the world. Sons of devils. |
