Wi-Fi hacking, also known as wireless hacking or Wi-Fi cracking, refers to the unauthorized access of a wireless network or the interception of data transmitted over a wifi network.

WiFi hacking is obtaining unauthorized access to wireless networks, devices, and data by exploiting security flaws.

Typically, this is accomplished by employing specialized tools and techniques to intercept wireless signals, circumvent security protocols, or gain access to login credentials and other sensitive data.

WiFi hacking requires the use of specialized wifi hacking tools and methods to obtain unauthorized access to wireless networks, devices, and data.

It involves exploiting vulnerabilities in the security protocols used by Wi-Fi networks to gain unauthorized access or to capture sensitive information.

There are various techniques and tools used in WiFi hacking, including:

1. Password cracking: Attackers use tools like brute-force attacks or dictionary attacks to guess or crack the WiFi network’s password.

They try multiple combinations of passwords or use precomputed databases of commonly used passwords to gain access.

2. Man-in-the-Middle (MitM) attacks: This technique involves intercepting the communication between a user and the WiFi network.

This can lead to eavesdropping on sensitive information, such as login credentials or financial data.

3. Packet sniffing: Attackers capture and analyze the data packets transmitted over the WiFi network.

By examining the packets, they can extract sensitive information, such as usernames, passwords, or other unencrypted data.

4. Rogue access points: Hackers set up malicious WiFi access points that mimic legitimate networks.

Unsuspecting users connect to these rogue access points, allowing the attacker to monitor or manipulate their traffic.

5. WPS attacks: WiFi Protected Setup (WPS) is a feature designed to simplify the process of connecting devices to a network.

However, it has inherent vulnerabilities that can be exploited by attackers to gain access to the network.
