The Teaching Excellent Frameworks (TEF) 2017 gave Gold Standards. The Times and Sunday Times League Table 2020 placed the university among the Top 15 for Teaching Quality in the United Kingdom. According to WhatUni 2020, the university is in the Top 25 in the United Kingdom for Job Prospects.

The National Student Survey 2019 placed the university among the Top 10 for Student Satisfaction in the United Kingdom. According to Totally Money 2019, the institution has the lowest cost of living for students in the entire of United Kingdom.

One of the top departments in the UK is frequently cited as being the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences at Bangor University. Athletes' mental toughness, peak performance, dietary behaviour and metabolism, exercise and vascular health, and more are all being studied by top sports scientists. The application was necessary. The deadline for undergraduate students is April 15, 2022, and for graduate students is May 15, 2022; there are nine deadlines for September 2022. January 2023:
Up to £4,000 in international scholarships

Deans Scholarship—based on merit. Up to £6,000. No application is necessary.
Scholarships for EU students, up to £6,000. No application is necessary.
Up to £5000 in professional experience scholarships. Application is necessary.
Loyalty Scholarship: An additional £1,000 is available to Bangor Alumni and their immediate family. Application is not necessary.
