Mc oluomo should prepare all his eiye and aye men for Niger, Asari should prepare his private soldier. Likewise the bandits in the north and boko haram should get ready to go to Niger, unknown Gunmen and Biafra soldiers this the time to prove yourself in Niger. Let's see which one of them will scale through...

Quote me anywhere. ECOWAS joint Military will not go to Niger. If they will, they'd not be talking plenty. They're playing a mind game and I'm happy the Junta is consistently calling their bluff. This will end in shame for them.

Yeah! Go and protect the interests of the imperialists who have kept you in bondage for centuries.
Go and clear the path for the imperialists to keep looting the natural resources unhindered.
Go and destabilize the whole place turn it to war front so your imperialists will have an avenue of making mad money by selling arms and ammunition.
People dey happy say one puppet president was removed and outsiders dey cry for dem.
If Niger people say na military rule dem want then let dem be. undecided
It shall not be well with any African who will help imperialists against his own people.

Tinubu should be impeached if any Nigerian soldier is deployed without NASS approval

The CDS should know his allegiance is to the constitution. He should ensure that he sees the NASS approval before he obeys orders to deploy troops to Niger

The cowards you support here will do the same. They did not run, they want to fight at the battle front. Fight for freedom, military rule in Libya made Libya a rich nation until america and nato deceived her people. Democracy in Nigeria, 24 years and chop I chop government, to what use are they?

This is by far the most stupid decision ever to be made!
Attacking a country because they want their own laws, etc.
You want this, come and build industries in their country, is it so much to ask?

The hot headed ECOWAS should consider a number of factors that may likely play against them in the course of their operation in Niger. Majority in Niger did not believe in democracy the ECOWAS was trying to restore and in fact people of Niger will work against their military operation. Another thing is the terrain which will give the Junta a great advantage in taking out the logistics of the operation. Countries like Barkinafaso and Mali won't just fold their arms and watch ECOWAS invade Niger. In fact they share borders with Niger. A wild card in the scenario is Wagner which are highly equipped with sophisticated weapons might join in the fight.
So ECOWAS should not destabilize the region in the name of restoration of Democracy in Niger. It not worth it because it's Western imposition which isn't ideal to our established systems. No blood should be shed in the name of Democracy.

The same way Nato was hailed during Ghadafi era. Look at what was made out of Libya. Militias here and there. Weapons flying around everywhere. I weep for Nigeria already. USA will never fight any war at their doorstep. The main reason they never invaded Cuba. But we no dey hear.

This is a strategic war for protection of interests, including (surprise surprise) African interests. The US, EU and Nigeria share the same interest in this (probable) war - Nigeria's 15 billion dollar tran-Sahara gas pipeline connecting Nigerian gas to the EU, which passes through Niger and Algeria into Europe, is under construction. It could triple Nigeria's annual income when completed. Russia has an opposing interest, and the military junta in Niger are Russian allies. After the recent bombing of the Russian pipeline supplying the EU with gas, a major hit on Russia's economy, it is pretty clear a Kremlin - backed junta in Niger will not let the Trans-Sahara gas pipeline to Europe happen. The EU want the pipeline to reduce dependence on Russian supplies. The other ECOWAS nations have an interest, as they wish to deter military intervention in their own countries. The 'coup contagion' as they call it. So this whole thing is far more complex than the simple popular narrative of 'ECOWAS fighting for imperialist interests'.

Is tinubu sending his own children there? Common sense shows the family can be easily target for emotional blackmail. Niger is on the receiving side.

The coup plotters never had an intention of halting the gas pipeline construction. Stop making things up.

Seems God almighty is ready to punish Africans and by extension, the whole world for our sins and wickedness through our own hands.

If a West African war starts, it will lead to massive displacement of people, increase in tribal fueds, crimes and poverty, and collapse of many nations.

Nigeria that is using 95% of its earnings to service debts will quickly go bankrupt.

Can't the Senate and elders of the Nation rein on Tinubu? The road he is leading Nigeria to, is into the abyss

And the Junta will stay forever. And Nigeria cannot discuss with the said Junta??. All eyes on the billion dollars forgetting that Niger can be taken over by regional militias just like Libya. Nigeria should thread with caution simple. We are not liked by our neighbours. The militias from all these countries will filter into Nigeria. Deadlier weapons will filter in. All manners of terrorism will filter in. I weep for this country. We should not fight any war at our doorstep.

Understandable!

Nigeria should be wise at this time...this is a great opportunity to add to the money our economy badly needs...

After the invasion...stay put and control the Oil and Uranium with France...in the name of the Regional Super Power and the fears that the Military might return...France got no choice but to negotiate percentage with you...

Go there for the business!

Why ECOWA did nothing about the Mali coup is one thing I can't understand. They are getting ready to go to war in the Benin Republic.

The question is, who is instigating ECOWAS?
