Kebbi State Deputy Governor, Abubakar Umar, submitted a WAEC certificate allegedly obtained from Sultan Abubakar College Sokoto, but his classmate while in school came to the Tribunal and told the court that he and the Deputy Governor were both expelled from the school and never got to sit for their WAEC in the school.

I didn't understand that Lyon case but it helped me to understand better.the supreme court last year clearly said that they have departed from Lyon case.the current position of the law is that to prove forgery,the institution that issued the cert must testify and they didn't.case closed
