Just read the trash you typed.

Where did military junta get his own authority from?
All West African countries are signatories to EOWAS

It's like some of you are forgetting the actual meaning of the ECOWAS acronym.

Go and read the mission statement that describes the purpose(s) for which Ecowas was formed. This obsession with this Ecowas nonsense is becoming irritating.

Being a willing member of a neighbourhood association does not give any neighbour the audacity to invade your home and attempt to decide how you run your family.

Whether legitimate or not, the citizens of Niger republic have strongly given their support to the military Junta. That is all the legitimacy they need to get things done. Earlier today, there was yet another massive rally in support of the Junta. It would amount to folly for anyone else to attempt going against the will of the masses.

You small children that's never been under a military regime before don't know the evil of military regime.

Under Abacha, who dares to oppose him. There is a reason why most members of NEDECO ran away from Nigeria during Abacha. Those that stayed and opposes him were assassinated

Igbos and Obidients are looking up to judiciary in Nigeria over a contested presidential election that an Igbo candidate claimed the winner did not merit.

Same Igbos and Obidients are also the ones supporting a military junta that illegally and treasonably sacked a democratically elected government.

Same Igbos and Obidients want ECOWAS and other foreign nations to respect the sovereignty of Niger, even when the legitimate government wants those world powers to remove the military junta, so that the legitimate government can return to its constitutional duties.

Igbos and Obidients want the very same foreign powers to help them remove the democratically elected President of Nigeria. They have written letters to ask that the President in Nigeria should not be recognised. What do Igbos and Obidients truly want?

What is their moral character judging by all their unstable interests that conflict with each other?

It's not Nigeria that's invading Niger, it's ECOWAS, with the support of the AU.
Moreover, the junta lacks the legitimacy to lay claim to any authority

Oga, you don't need to insult me. I may well be above you in age.

We're not here to debate on the merits or otherwise, of governmental systems. Whether military rule is evil or not does not change the fact that the citizens of Niger republic are in tacit support of the current military leadership. It's a colossal waste of mind space for you to sit here and be bothered about the goings-on in another man's country, given the plethora of challenges you currently have in yours.

PRECISELY THIIEFNUBU, THE ECOWAS CHAIRMAN.

EITHER WAY, AFTER THIS, MANY COUNTRIES WILL THINK TWICE BEFORE JOINING ECOWAS.

Legitimacy of any government is conferred by the governed. If the citizens of that country felt the junta was not in their best interest, they'd have protested against it from day one. They've rather been doing the exact opposite. And that to any sane mind, is legitimacy enough, in this case.

Are you aware COUP is a treasonable act against the country and it violates the constitution of any democratic nation

You are so dumb that you don't even know there is nothing sovereign about a nation whose constitution as being suspended and the choice of the people subverted

Ecowas as a regulatory body has the responsiblity to restore stability and normalcy to any member state.

I haven't mentioned Nigeria in any of my submissions. As of this very moment, the junta in Niger republic enjoys the widespread support of the citizens, and that's enough legitimacy.

Ecowas or AU are in no place to seek to invade a sovereign country simply because of that country's membership in an ordinary association that can be dispensed with in a matter of days.

Nothing justifies that proposed display of silliness.

Niger is over 140,000 Sq miles larger than Nigeria. It is not a small country.
Population wise smaller than Nigeria though, 25m, to Nigerias 200million.
