I'm still asking what was the essense buhari decided to keep people hungry, in the name of naira redesign?
Why is Aisha buhari not talking anymore?
This is all clear that the elites are suppressing the poor masses to survive on them due to thier selfish gains.

To make the new notes look like counterfeit.
That, is the essence.

And if you watch out the money is still not circulating, meanwhile we have just 4 months left for this year to round up.

A very senseless government, they're just perfect when it comes to making irrational decisions.

A ploy by Emefiele, working with the opposition to stop Jagaban & his billions of Naira from supposedly influencing the presidential election, but it backfired drastically.

The Obidients (Both the rich & poor) deceived the man, that Master Jagaban had 30 billion Naira in his underground safe in Bourdillon Road Ikoyi, Now he Dr Emefiele is in the cooler, carrying Bible upandan.

Let me educate you so that you understand.

Mopping up of currency liquidity is an important tool in curbing inflation .By reducing cash in circulation and increasing electronic banking the cost of maintenance is reduced and more profit and controlled money circulation is achieved. The problem with that decision was implementation and sabotage. It was hurriedly implemented in order to minimize currency circulation during elections without long term sensitization of the people and then the sudden surge in electronic transactions overwhelmed the banking system. Finally the Banks sabotaged it because they had political interests hence the hoarding of the new currency and selling to Politicians for buying up electorates. All in all it was an excellent idea that failed because of the usual culprit "Nigerian Factor".

You can remember this video of Tinubu giving out a bundle of the new Naira notes shortly after its launch.

Why are you asking now? That policy would have reduced corruption and vote buying. But since our judiciary are part of the corrupt system they decided to allow the old note.
