According to Advance Africa, there are five different types of fake job search scams. Find details below; 1. An E-mail supposedly from an employer, recruiter, or job board. 2. Fake job adverts on social media. 3. Fake jobs apparently from legitimate employers. 4. Bogus jobs on legitimate job boards. 5. Fake job boards, fake employer websites, and fake recruiter websites. Research shows that a lot of people are involved in executing any or all of the types of fake jobs listed above and apparently, they are making a lot of money from it. It is our job, however, to educate and reach out to more people, so we can reduce the chances of anyone else falling victim to them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j8jKcXXqPS4&list=PLUI_Fo2IKYCsfmW5GFULmOC45RBlFjbBq&index=7 |
