The Director General of the National Commission for the co-ordination and control of the proliferation of small arms, ammunitions and light weapons (NATCOM), Dr Baba Mohammed has congratulated the newly appointed and inaugurated ministers on their appointments as they assume office.

Dr Mohammed In his congratulatory message said, “i am confident the newly inaugurated ministers would do well in the discharge of their duties and specifically, i am thanking and appreciating President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and his vice Sen. Kashim Shetimma, GCON for finding the ministers worthy for the task ahead.

Dr. Mohammed also appreciated the President of the Senate Godswill Akpabio, CON and Speaker of the House of Representatives Rt Hon. Tajudeen Abbas PhD. as well as the National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu.

The rest are the Chief of Staff to the President Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila and the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Sen. George Akume, CON.

He charged the new ministers to bring on board their exceptional skills , dedication, commitment and unwavering commitment to their new responsibility and duty.

Dr Baba enjoined the citizenry to support the new administration of president Bola Tinubu and remain steadfast in prayers for the nation and NATCOM, he expressed optimism that Nigeria’s security challenges will be greatly surmounted with the coming on board of NATCOM operations.

He said provision of gainful employment to the teeming youth as well as enthronement of a robust economy are added benefits to be accrued when NATCOM comes into full operations.
