PROF. KATE OMENUGHA WINS NIPR GOVERNING COUNCIL ELECTION. The immediate past Commissioner for Education in Anambra State, Prof. Kate Azuka Omenugha of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, has been elected a Member of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations (NIPR). Professor Omenugha scored a total of 753 votes to emerge the winner in the highly contested election. She is a Member of the Anambra State Chapter of the Institute. The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations is the regulatory body for the Public Relations Practitioners in Nigeria.
