Disregard any pastor that tells you praying for Nigeria is the solution to our problems.

To get out of our current situation, Nigerians must learn to be deliberate and purposeful in choosing leaders with proven track record of achievements.

But that’s not enough, such leaders, when they emerge, must consistently be held accountable; and not elevated to the status of a god who is infallible and must never be questioned - like some people pathetically do.

It’s same thing with our personal lives. If you must ever amount to anything in life, you must be deliberate with your life choices.

You either study well and earn a good degree that will land you a good job,

Or you start a business and strenuously nurture it until it becomes profitable,

Or you learn a skill which you will offer as a service and be paid for.

Any pastor who tells you to ignore these things and go and wait on God and pray for miracle, does not like you and you should never listen to such pastor. (This is not denying the place of miracle in human endeavours, but grace builds on nature).

Now, if we must follow practical steps to achieve success in our individual lives, why must the success of country be dependent on prayers? Why would some people who call themselves men of God continually rule out the part we need to play as a people by identifying and voting the right candidates but rather admonish us to subject everything to prayer; and some people will be defending them.

Or does anyone have an example of a country that was built by prayer?

US, UK, Germany, Switzerland, UAE, Singapore, etc, which of these first world countries was built by prayers?
social activist and convener of Our-Mumu-Don-Do, Charles Chukwuemeka Oputa, popularly known as Charly Boy, has lambasted the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC over the lingering economic hardships the party has subjected Nigerians to in recent times.

In a post on his official X page, the singer claimed that the ruling party has made life unbearable by snatching peace away from common Nigerians.

He added that the only way to attain the desired peace in the country was not through prayers but through “responsible action against this criminal enterprise.”

He wrote, “APC has murdered sleep for most Nigerians. Verily, verily, I say to you, the peace we deserve cannot come through prayers oooo. Peace will come through responsible action against this criminal enterprise.

“The APC invaders keep making it difficult for the poor man to breathe.”

Days ago, Charly Boy had also lambasted former governor and now Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike over allegedly buying of a N300million armoured Lexus LX600 marked with FCT 01 plate number.

Wike, who was sworn in on Monday alongside 44 other ministers appointed by President Bola Tinubu, trended online a day after his inauguration for allegedly buying a N300 million worth amoured Lexus LX600 marked with FCT 01 plate number.

Reacting to the former Rivers State governor's alleged purchase of the multimillion Naira vehicle, Charly Boy berated the minister for driving such an expensive vehicle in a country where over 20 million children are reportedly out of school with the country's minimum wage for workers being pegged at N30,000.

He had said, "A minister is driving a 300 million naira vehicle in a country with over 20 million out of school children. A minister is driving a 300 million naira vehicle in a country where the minimum wage is 30,000 naira.

"Please folks stop engaging the defenders of this crime against."

The weird beast is drumming for war.

Coincidentally, that is exactly what ipob terrorists have been begging for since the day Buhari was declared president elect.

I'm just imagining how the war will be. Is it that ipob terrorists will populate Nigeria for the war or Nigerian army and ipob terrorists will meet at a battle field.

Well, hopefully, everyone will get what he desires.

Nigeria is a typical real life proof is this theory.
Nigeria has the largest number of religious outfits in Africa (if not the whole world).
Nigerians have been praying for ever.
Nothing has changed.
God is not mocked and does not regard such prayers.
God works with diligent people.
Once you start working diligently, God shows up whether invited or not.
It is a CORE PRINCIPLE.
How many prophets prayed against Tinubu, essentially against his ever entering Aso rock?
Who is sitting there now?
That is why every country that ever developed had some kind up internal cleaning process -mostly revolutions - before they started to develop.
They were not praying: They ACTED.
Enuff said.

So you are bragging about Awolowo starving innocent children to death?

But well, after the action, how did he end? The Nigerian presidency he so much coveted continued to elude him until he drank rat poison and died like a chicken.
