Liverpool have reportedly entered the race to sign Leicester City's Nigerian midfielder Wilfred Ndidi.

Ndidi has been one of Leicester's best players in recent years and was a regular starter in the squad that suffered the ignonimity of relegation from the Premier League last season.

The Nigeria international has kept his head down and pushed on to help the club regain their PL status but he could be offered a faster route back into the top flight if recent reports are to be believed.

Ndidi to Liverpool?

According to the Independent, Liverpool are mulling over a move for the Super Eagles holding midfielder in a bid to add depth to their thin midfield.

Reds boss Jurgen Klopp wants to add an enforcer and Ndidi would fit the bill perfectly.

A move could happen swiftly as the 26-year-old has less than 12 months left on his contract at the King Power, and a return to the top-flight would surely be too good to turn down.
