The difference between this countries and Nigeria is that, we have a military that is loyal to the government and can never go against the government

Wike rigged election for Tinubu in River state and was rewarded with Minister of Abuja.
We know what ElRufai and his colleagues did in the North.

Why are we tolerating this in Nigeria.
How did we get here?

The next protest in Nigeria will be in front of Defense headquarter and all military barracks across the country.
All these few recycled politicians recolonizing Nigerians economically must end.

Enough is enough.

Don’t sweat it bro . Nigerians are not ready . Look at Nairaland alone . Very divided . Tribalism and bigotry in every single thread.
Enough is not yet enough

have you compared the current government and any military government in Nigeria apart from President Buhari's government. A democratic government came into power and the country seems like they are mourning but a military take over and see how the citizens are celebrating.I can boldly tell you if a military hand over happens in Nigeria, there will be massive celebration 🍾

The people are happy but some useless and unfortunate leaders of regional blocks like ECOWAS and AU will kick against this coup.

The people of the black race have awoken, just like the Arab Spring of almost a decade ago. More military takeover is expected... The last ignoble, infamous election in Nigeria 🇳🇬 that witnessed a 'coup de democracy' gave the impetus and rise for all these military takeover.

Many other countries and even Nigerians are watching the Tribunal, and the verdict could finally nail the coffin ⚰ of democracy in Africa.

#AllEyesOntheJudiciary!
My friend, there is no awakening anywhere, if there is they will not celebrate coup but take to the streets to fight against injustice. But they cannot because they themselves are dimwits and cuts corners. Military rule is not a solution. A good example is Nigeria. The reaso behind Nigeria's first coup was corruption, and this soldiers are those that looted Nigeria to where it is now. Spoilt a lot of things. Took us from Regional system to a bastardized presidential system and started to create states indiscriminately.

I am sure you are quite young and knows nothing about military take over. It is still the same corruption personified and about reckless looting. Despite that things where cheap in Libya under Gaddafi, how developed is Libya. Throughout the military rule in Nigeria, we only retrogressed as a nation. Watch all other military ruling countries in Africa have they made any significant change.

Don't worry, you will understand what a decree is soon

What we have today as military officers in Nigeria are Politicians drabbed in military uniforms.

Our current crop of Military officers have become corrupted by oil theft and the proceeds of blood money; they do not have the ideological, altruistic nor nationalistic ideals, to salvage this country. They are not the saviours. This crop of officers are remarkably different from their peers in the 1980's —those ones stole and worked a little. These ones that divert money meant for arms and welfare? I cannot classify.

Honestly I think it's about that time the military seized power in Nigeria because the way things are going upside down, I don't see any hope or light at the end of the tunnel.. We claim to be practising democracy, but we are not.

Pls I have a question to ask.

Why is that it's always the head of presidential guard that normally carry out coup?

Most of coups that have taken place in Africa in the past was spare headed by Head of presidential guard.

What happened to all senior majors ahead of them in ranking?

Please, am asking just for educational reason.

Because they are the closest military unit to president they know his going and coming, like your personal bodyguard or your driver.
