My fellow comrades how are you people doing in your workplace?

Yesterday I received a call for an interview as laboratory scientist in a hospital, but I'm kinda worried. My last two visits to a hospital as a job seeker ended in disgrace. The hospitals hate microbiologists like a plague; simply because we don't have a medical lab science degree and license. But yet, my colleagues kept getting employment in hospitals.

My question though is what do microbiologists do in a hospital? Do we do glucose tolerance tests, gestational diabetes mellitus screening, or do we just practice microbiology because I kinda prefer practising microbiology lol.

You are not a laboratory scientist. If you want to work as a Laboratory Scientist, go through the rigorous training for 5 years plus 1 year internship, get your certification and then practice. That is a very sensitive position in every hospital setting, if you make any mistake you could end a life. Source for a job outside the hospital, good luck.
