samcolee: Tried in police orderly room trial or in high court? If he has been tried in the high court the sentence for culpable homicide is death or life not mere dismissal from the police force. This is why ftom the story it looks like an internal police orderly room trial not a high court trial. The former cannot replace or oust the latter. His crime is governed by the criminal code not the police act all its subsidiary legislation. |

The disgrace and remorse made him cry. Unfortunately there was no going back at that point. His salaries and future retirement all went up in flames because of his foolishness. If he was given another opportunity he would never make such egunje errors again. |
