Since 2011 Janna foundation and partners have been working in the North Eastern part of Nigeria to improve the health quality of people, especially nomads communities in the area of tuberculosis (TB) and leprosy.

Haven achieved significant results the foundation is working on a project geared towards addressing the challenges of tuberculosis in three state of Adamawa, Taraba and Yobe states.

Stakeholders from the aforementioned states have met and charted a way forward for TB and Leprosy project that will last for six months.

The meeting is also aimed at sensitising stakeholders on community engagement for last mile population who are also to engage relevant stakeholders for support and ensure project sustainability in target states.

Representatives from the various states on Tuberculosis and leprosy control units says Janna Health foundation has contributed a lot in achieving a desired objectives in Taraba, Adamawa and Yobe States.

The TB and leprosy control representative from the federal ministry of health Department, Mrs Stella Eke commended Janna foundation for achieving set goals and called on government at all levels and stakeholders to contribute their quoter.

The founder Janna health foundation Dr Stephen John expressed optimism that the commitment demonstrated by stakeholders will go a long way in achieving a desired results.

He noted that such meeting will also guide stakeholders to undergo a survey that will bring out a statistic that will ease its work and commended stakeholders for their commitment to the project.
