I dont understand these people that call themselves "Nigerians". Have they no shame? In this 21st century, you are still answering the name "Nigerian", a colonial name a white woman created in London in 1897. And you proudly answer to this name as your national identity? Is there any name you created in Africa that any European country is answering? You go around calling your self a "Nigerian", a colonial name, an imperial name, a slave name and a British name. A name the British brought from London to West Africa and used guns, bombs and bullets to impose on you This is the name you proudly bear? We are still very far But I understand why people choose to still answer that ridiculous colonial name called Nigeria. Because nothing unites them, because nothing brings them together, so it will be war if they try and find another name |

Best name for Nigeria: United Regions of Africa (URA) Or United Regions of West Africa (URWA) Then restructure Nigeria to function as a country of 6 geopolitical regions (Northeast, Northcentral, Northwest, Southeast, Southsouth and Southwest) that came together to form a country. And possibly go back to regional system of government and let's see the outcome for say 50yrs, if things didn't improve we can go back to Federalism or go our separate ways as case maybe. |
