In the past, we had long lasting marriages between Christian couples even till old age. We still have some today, though we have many failing christian marriages today..
Why are many christians marriages failing?

(1) Worldly mindset about marriage: God the founder of marriage has designed the pattern for marriage to survive: For a man to love his wife and provide for his family, and for a woman to submit to her husband. But if a man is polygamous and having a side chic, and a woman is a disrespectful feminist, marriage won't work.

(2) Wrong Marriage Foundation: We have many liars nowadays. Pretenders going to church and acting good. A guy having a Fiancee and still sleeping with other ladies, and a lady having a Fiance and still sleeping with other people. People sleeping with themselves before marriage. These affects marriages.

(3) Evil baggages not destroyed: Covenants with past sexual partners not broken through prayers, emotional burdens not dealt with by prayers, unconfessed sins, hidden secrets that is a mole etc. These can affect marriages.

*Inability to adapt and accept what you can't change.

* Inability to change what you cannot.

* Competitive authority

* Sense of selfishness

* Disrespect, disregard for the purpose of marriage.
