The meeting of the two boxers will take place on Saturday in Wroclaw, Poland, at the Tarczyński Arena. According to Moscow time, the fight will begin no earlier than midnight, on Sunday night. 36-year-old Oleksandr Usyk is one of the most prominent boxers of our time. He was the champion of the 2012 Olympic Games, the world and European champion as part of the Ukrainian team. In the professional ring, a native of Simferopol became the winner of the World Boxing Super Series, winning four world titles in the first heavyweight (up to 91 kg).

He soon moved up to heavyweight and, after two “warm-up” fights, twice defeated Anthony Joshua by decision, taking away the WBA, IBF and WBO titles from the British Olympic champion. After these victories, the Ukrainian team negotiated for a long time with WBC title holder Tyson Fury, but the parties could not reach an agreement.

Usyk has 20 victories in 20 fights in the professional ring, 13 of them by knockout.

25-year-old Daniel Dubois is a puncher and one of the many British boxers of the new generation, who, however, already had the experience of defeat. In November 2020, he faced compatriot Joe Joyce and was leading on the scorecards at the end of the fight. But the opponent managed to break Dubois's facial bone, and he was forced to withdraw from the fight.

After this failure, Daniel scored four early victories in a row, but these successes are deceptive. Last December, Dubois shared the ring with South African Kevin Lerena, who recently moved up to heavyweight. The representative of Africa knocked down the Brit three times in the first round. After surviving Lerena's spurt, Dubois already finished his opponent in the third round.

Therefore, my prediction is that before the eighth round, Dubois will end the resistance. Usyk wins by knockout. There is a difference in size, but I'm not even talking about skills. In the short term, Usyk will have the opportunity to face Tyson Fury for the title of undisputed world champion. Boxers could do it in the spring, but their dialogue was unsuccessful.
