How do we promote tourism in Nigeria by doing that. We should have a beautiful convention centre built in Eko Atlantic City, build hotels around it with full pedestrianised roads full of bars to brighten the whole atmosphere.

I am sure our multi billion companies can sponsor it if comes to sponsors.

But having it outside Nigeria is a No-No

A pedestrianised street is a street cars are not allowed to go into. It is wide enough to take cars on both sides of the street but it is normally a street full of bars, restaurants and clubs plus hotels. A proper red light zone. No Nigeria city has such a place.

But small Kigali has it.

No state in Nigeria has it, not even your new capital city Abuja that is bearly 30 years old.

The only planned city in Nigeria is Abuja. It even degenerated into a Lagos-like eyesore until El Rufai came to sanitise it within 2003-2007. Lagos is just a massive super slum consisting of eye-catching high-rise buildings, but with zero street planning, building alignment and the likes.
