I don't know Why labour will not allow NIGERIANS to suffer for just another 4 years,

Let NIGERIA suffer in the hands of Tinubu so that after this suffering sense will find them by fire by force.

The most foolish people created by God in the world.

NLC is not even fighting Nigerians or masses. May be you should take a look at their demands once again. Thanks

You're seeing everything from politics.

The federal govt delegation is playing hide and seek for three months but you want labour to continue to beg them.

If it was labour during Oshiomhole's time, by now all their demands would have been met. NLC died after Oshiomhole.

Why are you guys so tribal? Everything is division to una, what a frustrating country!

Hide and seek for the same Labour president that boycotted the meeting with FG yesterday? Ya’ll are jokers.

Going on strike now will cripple the economy more and will not favor neither FG more the Labor force. When FG spend 90% of the revenue on debt servicing, where exactly will they get the money to sustain the Labor workforce?

But they gave NASS 70 billion for renovation of NASS complex that Bubu gave them 37 billion about 3yrs ago to renovate

The strike is long over due and the objective of the strike is to remind the FG;
1. NLC can still restore its glorious days and be effective again
2. the FG must know that whatever palliative measure they have rolled out so far is inadequate/futile

3. The strike is to re awaken agitation and change that narrative of toothless bull dog, FG must take the NLC/people serious

4. Fg must know they can be held accountable and culpable

The 2days strike is just a "WARNING strike" ...use your sense and stop asking dumb questions

Everywhere in the world "Protest and lockdown" is the practice, so what should NLC innovate into, carry guns & amunition or start using charm to speak to our insensitive leaders. You tells us other approach you think is better and proven effective

Tinubu as for more time, but the moves and approach so far does it make sense or look like steps in the right direction ... borrow sense naw, do you know how difficult people are finding to survive, to eat 3 square meal in Nigeria now is a Life for the rich .. i'm talking balance diet

No time the earlier the better ...

So if Labor go on strike, the people will suddenly start eating 3 square meal and everyone will get rich overnight?

What has ASUU over 7 month strike achieved? It sets the lecturers backward as most of them did not get paid for the duration of the strike.

Their ASUU president living large but yet the issue still remains.

Just as ASUU did not make any headway, NLC strike will lead to the same futile effort. Government is extremely broke, Tinubu is also not stewpeed that he will purposely make life unbearable for Nigerians.

If you as a president meet a situation where 90% of your revenue is being used to service debt, will you just continue to do that until it is 100% and you are not able to even fix a common 5km road nor pay salaries?

NLC should not always use strike as issue of first resort. They should innovate better ways that won’t cripple the economy.

The money hasn’t been released yet. Moreso, it was covered under the 2022 budget and that’s not Tinubu problem.

If you don’t know before, we have Executive, Legislative, and Judiciary which are separate arms of government.

If something is budgeted for them, they will make demand as separate arm of government. Personally, I will implore president Tinubu to not release such nonsensical amount at this time but you can’t fault Tinubu for such things and use that to drive your agenda about Labour strike.

Even Labour did not add that as part of their demand because they know it’s in the 2022 budget.

Two members of the House of Representatives have defended the National Assembly in the wake of the controversy trailing its N70 billion allocation in the 2022 Supplementary Appropriation Act.

The Bible says in phsalm 125: 3 and I quote:

The scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the lot of the righteous less the righteous put their hands on iniquities.

Proverbs 14: 34 says:

Righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a disgrace to any nation.

If this is the word of God and we are standing on the righteousness of God may God disgrace you all who want to impose a Drug Criminal on us in Nigeria.

May God continue to disgrace your generation and your Supporters, may money fail you.

May God's word take effect and silence you all evil forces ganging up against NIGERIA in Jesus name Amen.

I predicted this... NLC is about to be shredded 8nto pieces...Joe Ajaero wants to be using his office to fight for Obi Peter and this is unwelcoming....it is either a vote of no. confidence is passed against him or the entire NLC political party is shredded.....

Northerners also will opt out of these shenanigans..now you will then see the faces of those who are behind this nonsense.....

Forget that lame thought of "sudden" ... there is a build up to every goal

Ofcus the 2days or 5days strike won't do magic, but NLC as some steps to take

Presently what is the image of NLC among the people, almost all Nigerians have lot trust & faith in NLC to defend the masses

How does a dog every kid in the block, consider toothless regain its image without biting someone yansh 1st

The 2days strike is just to test the waters and access how much control NLC has left on Nigerians, a lot of people don't believe whatever NLC say anymore, therefore they need to 1st win there way back into the heart of Nigeria

IF Nigerians and NLC can rebond and build a synergy that will be our shortest cut to force the Govt to take Nigerians serious,

Just stop being Myopic

You know why NLC lost credibility, it is because the Nigerian masses understand they Subsidy need to go.

All presidential candidates said they will remove it including LP which the NLC supported openly. So Nigeria saw through NLC hypocritical charade about trying to declare strike on same thing they supported.

You can’t just deploy palliative in a free fall method, you have to apply agile method. It’s bit by bit, NLC should give the new president few more time for his program to roll out. Ministers just got sworn in so why is NLC trying to apply hammer to a government that’s just trying to balance.

If Peter Obi is president today, 100% of you guys would have opposed NLC strike and type a million reason why they should give Obi some time to adjust.

If I ever become president, my first task will be to demolish Labor union, they are useless and only good at holding the country backward. 2023, they still using strike as first resort and yet nearly all parastatals handled by so called labor union are extremely corrupt. How can corrupt people claim they are fighting for the masses?

Are you saying NLC had credibility before Tinubu adminstration, or you assumed i was born yesterday

OGa NLC lost its credibility ever since Oshiomole left and during Buhari era they lost the credibility completely

What is the essence of applying a aboki you know won't work, palliative is suppose to cushion the effect of subsidy removal on Nigeria but what will 100,000 bags of rice shared among states really do

Lets be sincere with ourselves that 5billion FG shared to states governor will 30% of that money even reach the masses and how ??

I asked you a simply question you dodged, IF not "strike" what other approach does NLC have to hold the Govt to listen

For those saying "dailogue" or "sit at a round table" .... have you ever being in a dailogue vibe with someone that don't respect you or regard before .. smh
NLC as lost is credilbility and FG is fully aware which happens to be leverage, now what leverage does NLC have to contribute and be taking serious at the square table ??

Imagine inside the meeting Tinubu log into NL and show the NLC president comment n views people have about NLC will it motivate or break the comrade

They are actually just fighting for themselves.Let FG just give civil servants payrise and they will forget every other person exist.TUC knows this that is why they pull out.NLC were believing FG will increase salaries by at least 100% that was why they kept quiet all this while.Civil service is just made up of 1% of the population,so this 1% should cause more inflation for the rest.
