Tragedy struck on Tuesday morning in Lagos as a violent clash erupted at the Mile 2 area, resulting in multiple casualties amid escalating tensions between officials of the Lagos Task Force, tanker drivers, and touts.

The conflict reportedly began on the Mile 2-Oshodi bridge, resulting in the closure of the bridge and subsequent traffic disruptions.

Eyewitnesses said that the fight became very chaotic, and they blocked the road with barriers and set tyres on fire.
