JUST IN: Panic as armed robbers cart away money and other valuables after invading three communities in Ibadan

Some yet-to-be-identified armed robbers have carted away money and other valuables as they invaded three communities in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.

According to reports, the robbers carried out the attack at around 3:00 am, on Tuesday, September 5, 2023.

The affected communities include Alaja, Seriki, and Ogogo on the new Ibadan/Oyo Expressway in the Akinyele Local Government Area of the state.


One of the community leaders, Raji Kazeem, who confirmed the incident, said, “The armed robbers came in the middle of the night and robbed some houses. That’s why you saw landlords and landladies discussing in different groups.”

The state Police Public Relations Officer, Adewale Osifeso, is yet to confirm the incident as of the time of this report.

The spate of increased Robbery in Ipob filled areas like Alaja and Ogogo in Oyo state is sickening if you ask me. Why wont these ill fated developers just do their business in peace and leave for their village every December
