Those Nigerians gleefully mocking NLC and dividing the union should not worry... When the real oppression begins, there will be no ear left to listen.

While I never fully agree with NLC and ASUU, I think it is WRONG for members of striking unions to ignore decisions taken by the executives due to personal political affiliations.

There is too much suffering in Lagos.
So people dont normally send organizations that dont have any direct impact on their lives.

Na this Lagos own pain pass as nobody send them for Lagos.
Some people who whatever they earn today is what their family will spend tomorrow with little or no saving, will embark on meaningless strike that would only do them harm than good.
Who send AJAERO! Abi, after the strike, na him go come put food for their table?

I guess people in Lagos are not feeling the economic heat? Or the cartel-like powers that be have threatened workers? Or people are just so beat down by the stress of living in Lagos that they don't have strength for such.

It's called divide and rule.
At the end they will say that nigerias unity is paramount.
Suffering and smiling gurus. Come and see as they are complaining and threatening to protest against the company I work with to increase their salary as if it was the company that removed subsidy. Bad governance is affecting everyone even the banks.

Small small NLC will become irrelevant if some starts refuse to heed the call for strikes.

The suffering of people is so easy to see but you are able to ignore how much financial turmoil is around you, it doesnt take a lot to see the majority of youth in this country are devoid of hope, most are just working to pay rent with no future targets anymore..
