Passengers at Murtala Muhammed International Airport (MMA) Terminal 1 were left stranded today as they faced unforeseen hurdles in their travel plans.

A network complication has rendered Immigration processing temporarily impossible, leaving travelers unable to proceed with their journeys, Igbere TV can report.

The source of this unprecedented disruption stems from a fire incident that transpired earlier this morning at the airport, which, thankfully, has been promptly extinguished by the airport's emergency response teams.

However, the aftermath of this incident has created significant inconvenience for passengers, who find themselves stuck in a state of limbo within the terminal. With Immigration services temporarily unavailable, the frustrations of travelers have mounted, adding to the already tense situation.

Efforts are underway to rectify the network complications and restore normal operations at MMA Terminal 1. Airport authorities are working diligently to minimize disruptions and expedite Immigration processing for affected passengers.

Passengers are advised to stay patient and cooperative during this challenging period, as airport personnel are striving to resolve the situation as swiftly as possible.

I have always said it that Nigeria doesn't have the cybersecurity defense capacity to secure it National Infrastructure that depends on the functionalities of Information Technology.

Nigeria need to at this point start to become responsible for her Cybersecurity assets by putting in place the right people with knowledge of how to protect and secure infrastructures, network and other critical assets such as this.

Like how can this just happen and nobody will be sacked or questioned for it?

This happens in even the most technologically advance airports the world over.
Perhaps, they sack the people in charge ALL THE TIME without informing the whole world.

This is a lie from the pit of hell.. There was no network glitch but fire erupted at the arrivals. All staffs are outside for further instructions. And those Pictures are old pictures. This is why i don't believe news broadcast in nigeria

Anything to add voice to INEC glitch jargon. They want us to believe its a common occurrence. So they staged this news. The only difference between the glitches that occur everyother place and that of the election is that the February 23 election was selective only affecting the presidential. Moreso the haste with which INEC went ahead to declare a winner instead of taking time to profer a solution is suspect. It became obvious that it was a coup
