Could Tinubu Have Won If February 2023 Election Was Free And Fair? by AntiTerrorist: 6:52pm On Sep 08, 2023 |
Tinubu is popular no doubt but it seems his popularity cannot give simple majority in a credible, unrigged election devoid of victimization, intimidation, violence and threat. If Lagos, Rivers, Plateau, Benue, etc results were not falsified against Obi in favour of Tinubu, would Tinubu still come first? I mean if that election was not rigged, was it possible for BAT to have won 2023 presidential election? Sincere opinions are welcomed. 4 Likes 1 Share |

But The court of appeals gave Obi's lawyer enough time to provide evidence Tinubu rigged in the mentioned states They ask him to call on witness who saw the rigging Instead Peter Obi Couldn't prove anything but wanted Tinubu disqualified based on his Chicago State University Certificate , Civil forfeiture case 40 years ago and Shetima's double nominations . 14 Likes 2 Shares |

Besides Rivers State where Wike did for Tinubu what Peter begged him and even promised to surrender the gubernatorial ambitions of Labour Party candidate, what is not free and fair about Lagos, Plateau and Benue? 13 Likes |

AntiTerrorist:You people are yet to wake up to the reality that politics is beyond social media popularity. Have you guys ever thought about the fact that majority of Nigerian voter population reside in rural areas, some of them without sufficient internet coverage? Have you thought about all the states in the North East, North West, North Central, and South West? Exactly what tangible chances are there that the rural dwellers in these areas know anything about Peter Obi? The reason Obi did well in Lagos is because Lagos is predominantly made up of urban areas. Who knows Obi in the villages of Ogun, Sound, Ondo, and Ekiti? Who knows Obi in the villages in the core North? Do you guys even listen to yourselves? 6 Likes 1 Share |

OP is one of those who believe the delusion that Peter Obi got 1m votes in Lagos qhile Tinubu got 200k votes only. The small margin win is not enough for their greed. He also believes that Obi scored 1m votes in Plateau in what would have been an absurd voter turnout percentage. He also cannot believe that Tinubu and APC defeated Obi and LP in a heavily Catholic Benue State. They forget the big crowd rallies that Fr Alia was staging for Tinubu and his own campaign, despite that Benue was then a PDP State with a Governor who vowed to work for Peter Obi. The said Governor, Ortom, lost his own Senate bid to APC, while Peter Obi lost the state to Tinubu by about 2k votes. The OP just cannot believe that Tinubu and his political allies battled them to every vote in the Chrisitian NorthCentral, while the Muslim North Central of Niger/Kwara/Kogi, gave Tinubu big leads over Peter Obi who was fighting religious warfare and depending on Yes Daddy to provide Chrisitian cover for him in Kwara/Kogi axis of the NorthCentral. 13 Likes |

"free and fair" election is an ideal election. Ideal elections don't exist even in America. Even Obi's followers didn't play "free and fair". Election should convey people's choice not necessarily free and free 100%. This election conveyed people's choice, the fact that the minority is louder and noisy than the majority doesn't mean the election outcome will change. U will see this in 2027 when Obi will lose again. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Burob:I don't understand your question. Obi's presidential primary election was live on camera. He was a concensus candidate unlike Tinubu who was sharing $25k per delegate. Those who bought political power can never use it for the good of the seller. Because it's a business transaction. |

Let us explain things to you gently may be you will Understand better Ok same way you voted for Peter Obi is the same way others voted for Tinubu and Atiku Peter Obi failed to get 25 % in any Sharia Muslim States so that alone is already 12 States lost plus the 5 SW States where he failed to get 25 % that is already 17 States lost where he didn't get the mandatory 25% National Spread. We haven't yet added Kogi ,Kwara and others o ! Peter Obi lost!! Even if you want to very stubbornly argue that the 5 SW States results were rigged and exclude them ( But in that case the APC will also argue for the SE results to be excluded too for the very same reason) Then include only the 12 Sharia Muslim States where Peter Obi failed to get 25% and add Kwara and Kogi State too That is already a total of 14 States, Peter Obi could not afford to have 25% in less than 24 states without loosing Peter Obi still lost the Elections!!!!! 3 Likes |

Yes. How would PDP parapo have won when they split their votes into 4? By PDP parapo, I mean Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso and the G5 governors. In the South, it was Tinubu vs Obi In the North, it was Tinubu vs Kwawkanso vs Atiku. Tinubu appeared twice in the equation. 1 Like |
