Feelers coming out of New Delhi suggest that the FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA could be formally admitted to the G20 by Sunday, when the final decision will be made.

As it stands now the African Union is more or less CERTAIN to be included as a bloc seat.

But NIGERIAN OFFICIALS AT THE G20 SUMMIT have insisted that NIGERIA, the most populous nation and biggest economy in Africa, projected to be the 3rd most populous nation on Earth after India and China by 2050, must have a SEPARATE SEAT OF ITS OWN in addition to the AU seat.

Just as the EU has a bloc membership, while nations like UK, Germany etc have seats.

India and some other members are reported to be backing Nigeria's inclusion.

ON SUNDAY, THE FINAL DECISION WILL BE MADE BY THE G20 MEMBERS. grin
