Seriously, INEC needs the services of background check up companies to verify politicians Certificate before been allowed to contest and any of those companies guilty of collecting bribes should be taken down and the beneficiaries of the bribery sentence to prison. INEC needs to do better.

Based on my experiences what usually happen isn't a forgery perse but inconsistency on the name written on the certificates.
I.e
If the Primary Certificate
Beared Adams Phillip
Weac beared Adam Phillip
Age declaration and other certificates beared Adam Phillip.
Whenever you contested any election and filled a form with the name Adam Phillip, if your opponent take you to tribunal your election will be nullified based on your primary certificate/testimonial bearing Adam Phillip.

Remedy:
Ensure that you follow due process in changing name from Adams Phillip to Adam Phillip.

Case study: Sen Abubakar Shehu Vs Sen Ibrahim Abdullahi 2019, the former lost to later as a result of this discrepancies.

It has not yet proved that his certificate was forged. Did you understand english? The school said he was their student and he graduated. He was then given a certificate wasn't he? Nobody has ever PROVED any forgery against him. The school has not said the certificate is not their.
