Would the Governor says that his house along Old Lagos/Ibadan Express Road in Iperu Remo conforms with the existing Town Planning Laws?
A thorough check of the right sides of the road from the Ilisan/Ode/Sagamu/Ogere junction to the house before DA’s House, will show that all houses from the said junction have adequate set-backs. It is only Abiodun’s fence wall that is directly abuting the road. Other houses after his house going to Ode Remo and finally to Saapade Bridge have adequate set-backs. A case of kettle calling bottle names. We are also waiting for the demolition, at least the fence wall.

It is also not news that one of his cronies is currently constructing an hotel (converting an uncompleted Hostel) along Isara/Ago-Iwoye Road. Could we also say that this observed the “legally approved” spaces and setbacks?

The Answer is no. when is he also going to demolish this building for want of standards?

Is the Governor and the said faceless PS not aware of the fact that there is an executive order permitting all developments along road expanded by Amosun to be approved with minimum of 3m setbacks to the drainage?

As a matter of fact, many buildings post Amosun’s projects in Ogun State particularly in Abeokuta, Sagamu and Ijebu Ode should be awaiting DA’s demolition machineries. Hence, demolition of DATKEM Plaza is pure political.
