Evariste Touadera, son of the president of the Central African Republic Faustin-Archange Touadera, was caught on video while hits violently two health workers in Kislovodsk, a town in southern Russia where he was sent for re-education. This was reported by the information site "LSI", which published the video which soon went viral on social media. In the video one of the health workers can be heard saying: "Call the father". According to information from the "Corbeau News" website, the president's son has been in Russia for about two weeks, accompanied by a delegation of psychologists and a therapist.

On August 28, Evariste was supposed to leave Kislovodsk to fly to Moscow, but in the hours leading up to the flight, the president's son allegedly tried several times to "sow" the personnel accompanying him. Found at the station, the man would have attacked an operator of the health delegation, who had tried to dissuade him from his intentions to escape. Despite the violent altercation, however, the victim refused to press charges. Evariste Touadera then left regularly for Moscow, where he was entrusted to the attention of the Central African embassy staff.
