The overreaching mindset
Have you ever met people who you felt indebted to because they did you a favour at some point in time. Yes I have at different points in time, it's absolutely crucial you draw a fine line between being indebted and being enslaved to your own emotions. I say this with utmost certainty that at some point in my life I couldn't get this correctly and that was because I felt so much indebted to this people and a bit of fear that forced me on countless situations to forget that I could be outspoken. You shouldn't let your emotions speak for you ahead of your heart, why should someone cajole you into something that you knows fully well goes against your policy at life, and that's what the overreaching attitude is all about. This people reach so much into your lives that at the end of the day you feel you've lost control over your will to decline thier requests. They reach into your will power, your strength, your love, your fear and simply dominate your life and create an illusion of them being untouchable and being a dominate figure you have to succumb to over and over again. Please try and understand clearly the difference between being grateful and being dominated externally and internally, your compulsion for them should have its limits and you should be in control of those limits. It might not be easy, trust me I had to break away from mine bit by bit and sometimes I still feel indebted to them but then I remember, I have never gone against you, but on countless times you have tried to subdue my will and get me under your control and so I get the strength to flee even further. So my advice for you today is get out of that relationship that's overreaching into your life and dominates your will power, it might be a marriage that only focuses on what your patner wants at the expense of your happiness, friendship where you're not respected and you are constantly molested emotionally, that nice neighbour who enforces thier rules on you just to make you feel inferior to them. Though it might not be instant but a step In the right direction is better than a thousand steps in the wrong direction
