Big Brother Naija All Stars Housemate, Venita Akpofure has come under fire over her comment about the Tiv people of Benue State. Venita had during a conversation under the duvet with Cross, claimed that Tiv people usually give out their wives to their guests to sleep with.

The development has angered many Tiv people and multiple actions have already been taken starting with a video from US based tiktoker @preciousstones8 and a video from the paramount ruler of the Tiv people - the Tor Tiv Professor James Ayatse - refuting the falsehood. She ought to know insulting the tribe of the father of your children is by extension insulting your children too. She of all people should be dispelling such baseless rumours not spreading it.
