If we have the technology to manufacture it by ourselves, it won't cost that much.

Why do you think it will be cheaper?

That is the number 11 of F35 to be lost during peace time.
USA military since last year, in peace time have lost an average of one military aircraft per month, more than even they lost in Iraq.

Wait oooh because if it Nigeria air force that loses aircraft every month, Nigerians will be saying rubbish.

Budget to moon
1. India 74 million dollars
2. Russia 200 million dollars
3. USA NASSA 400 + million dollars
Cost of labour & services can make it cheaper.

If a fighter jet is malfunctioning, the pilot can eject from the plane.

Planes do crash from time to time, and it's nothing new. It doesn't mean that the aircraft is inferior or that the pilot is inept. Although, rivalry between nations makes this kind of news, sauce for propaganda.
Re: Debris Found From F-35 Jet In South Carolina After US Pilot Ejected by bfn1: 12:09pm On Sep 19, 2023
The aircraft would have been insured, no doubt.

There's no human invention that is 100% perfect. Even at the state of new, some can still fail.

I am also sure the investigation team will take the account of the pilot into records which will prove valuable in unraveling the cause of the whole incident.

This is a very simple case to investigate, na we just dey blow am out of proportion.
