With the state close proximity to Lagos I don't see any reason for Ogun state not to be the second lagos state. The kind of 18th century houses you see in thier villages only portrays poverty and that affects other sectors. With huge IGR the governor has no excuse unless the IGR is audio. Ogun state is the worst state in Nigeria but agbado crews will leave the backwardness, rottenness and undevelopment in their region and be going about poking nose in what happens in other people region while the situation in their own region is getting worse. It is glaring that the people of south west has lost it. In the past Ogun state was in the forefront of education in Nigeria however as soon as the culture of thuggery,political gangsterism and the societal quest for quick money,through the elevation of Yahoo and rituals and backed by state actors,Ogun state like other south west state all fell to a very shameful level. presently in terms of education other parts of southern Nigeria are way ahead of south west and the Lagos-Ibadan parapo media has done little to help this situation rather they feed there unsuspecting populace with Propaganda to massage their ego.
