Personal Background

Prince Adama Joseph Adama hails from a royal family in Benue State. The Prince of Adijah. His grandfather, father and presently his uncles were and are all Chiefs.

Prince Adama is an Idoma man, the first child of His Royal Highness, Chief Joseph Adama Ekwule, the Alegwu of Adijah in Apa LGA, Benue State. He's happily married to Blessing Ekoja and are blessed with a daughter. He is a Christian. He was born on the 25th April, 1985. 
He's a passionate Entrepreneur, Management Consultant and the Politics of Talakawaism. 

Educational Background

He attended LGEA Central Primary School, Ugbokpo, Apa LGA where he obtained his first school leaving certificate. 

He obtained his professional and academic degrees from Zenith University College Ghana and Association of Business Executives (ABE) UK. He obtained a Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership from OTHM UK. 

He graduated from University of Chichester UK with Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and Swiss School of Business Research, Switzerland with Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

Adama Joseph Adama is presently a PhD in Management Candi­date with the Swiss School of Business Research, Switzerland. 

Work Experience

Adama Joseph Adama was employed as a Program Assistant with the CBN Entrepreneurship Development Centre, North Central Zone, Makurdi in 2017.

He later became the Program Manager of Self Worth Development Initiave in 2019.

He was appointed as the Regional Manager of PreDiagnosis International covering North West, Nigeria from 2019 to 2020.

Business Background 

Mr Adama Joseph Adama is a passionate Entrepreneur with brilliant ideas and strategies. He started his first business in 2007 when he founded Genius Planet in 2007 - Information Technology and Services. He founded his company with just N4, 000 that was borrowed from a friend and grew it into a 9 figure business.

Other companies he founded are Vistawood Innovations, Farm4Me Agriculture Ltd, ViableX Agribusiness Ltd, Ceepass Digital Limited and MedCity Medical Services Ltd. He's also the Founder of Eliaversity Research and Development Ltd in Ghana and Nigeria.

His business skills include ideation, business planning and development, product development, product management, project management, negotiation, digital marketing, investment management, fintech and agritech innovations management.

Political Background

Hon. Adama Joseph Adama is from a politically exposed family. He started active politics at the age of 12 years when he campaigned for his Uncle for Ugbokpo Ward Councilor in 1997 during the military regime. 

In the year 2007, Hon. Adama Joseph Adama was a key resource person for Dr Samuel Ankeli (former SSA to the President Buhari on Disability) when he ran for the Federal House of Representatives election in Apa/Agatu Federal Constituency. 

In 2010/2011, Hon. Adama Joseph Adama was a Special Assistant to the Campaign Director General of the Professor Steven Torkuma Ugbah Gubernatorial Campaign Organization on New Media. He built and managed the campaign website and the social media marketing of the Governorship Candidate of the then Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN). 

Upon returning to Nigeria from Ghana where Adama went to study in 2015, he joined the Social Democratic Party (SDP). Hon. Adama Joseph Adama contested for the Benue State House of Assembly election in 2019. He lost the election.
 
In 2023, Hon Adama Joseph Adama ran for the office of the Federal House of Representatives to represent the good people of Apa LGA and Agatu LGA under the All Progressive Congress (APC). He won the primary election but was surchanged during the uploading of candidates to the INEC Portal. 

Armed with the Certified True Copy of the INEC Report as the true winner of the primary election, Hon. Adama approached the Federal High Court seeking justice. The final judgement was that it was an intra-party affair, only the APC can decide the winner of the election. As a determined man, he went further to the Court of Appeal and the same judgement of intra-party affairs was still ruled. He proceeded to the Supreme Court. 
The State Leaders of the APC in Benue State, Senator George Akume (now the Secretary to the Government of the Federation - SGF), Chief Audu Ogbeh and Rev. Father Hyacinth Iormem Alia (present Governor of Benue State) prevailed on Hon. Adama Joseph Adama to withdraw his case from the Supreme Court in the interest of the party. He obediently did and campaigned for his opponent. A spirit of sportsmanship that was greatly cherished by the party leaders especially the present SGF and the Governor of Benue State, Rev. Father Hyacinth Iormem Alia. He campaigned day and night for his party the APC to win the elections in his federal Constituency and the party won in Apa LGA for the very first time.
