Both LAWMA and the market managers are responsible for the sorry state of the market. Why wasn't LAWMA enforcing the laws governing the operation of the market?... if they were the market would not get to this sorry state. Closing the market should not be the first step. Fines should be imposed daily for violations and after owing a certain amount ... the business/ building should be confiscated and either run by the City... or sold. 1 Like |

Neduzze5: If na Alaba or Ladipo now, they will turn it tribal. There is so much silence now because it is not a market dominated by only a section of the country. In any case, we know who are the real and true tribalists, Nedu. |

Lawma are just over using their powers.... I really do wonder what power do they really have to close up markets! They are so interested in forcing markets and houses to pay money.... Money is what drives them to this kinda rubbish. All govt agencies in Lagos state along with their allies like MC oluomo and his band of dorty agberoes bandits have all their eyes on the hard earned money of lagosians. I know some of this markets listed there, some are indeed decent. And seriously, why always ladipo spare parts market? Those Igbo traders always do their best to keep that place clean.... Tiff tiff govt |

The population in Lagos is too much....22 million people in Lagos alone ..you can expect things to be organized in a overpopulated area, city, state |
