Celebrating Nigerian Innovation on a Global Stage!

Nigeria's pride, MEDVAX Health, founded by Chioma Uzoma and Favour Ogedegbe, both distinguished alumni of the Department of Pharmacy, University of Benin, shines on the global stage !

Out of an impressive 570 teams from around the world, theirs was the only Nigerian team to make it to the final stage (top 5), where they clinched the Second Place position at the BeChangeMaker 2023 business pitch contest, bagging their first startup funding, and proving Nigerian excellence!

With a mission to ensure swift access to vital medicines and life-saving vaccines, Chioma and Favour of MEDVAX embody the spirit of Nigerian innovation, honed through their educational journey at the University of Benin.
