That's the irony of those jokers. Because of few Igbo names here and there among the Lagos participants, they've come here to beat their chest that they were the ones that helped Lagos. Same nonsense they're saying that they developed Lagos yet cannot develop their own ancestral states (home) but keep trooping to same Lagos like refugees.

Excatly my points to that empty chest beating loudmouth ! I don't know,it must be a genetic issue,Igbo people are annoyingly tactless. They keep attracting hate from everywhere to themselves !

FG has power, same with the state.

Except exploration of resources, foreign policy, security, and monetary policy, many others are on cucurent list, so why are we so focus on FG, while we allow governors to hide under our ignorance to milk the country dry?

States don't have power. FG has all the power. If we must prosper in this american system of government, there must be devolution of power as too much power at the center is ineffective. Well meaning Nigerians have been crying for resource control and true federalism but the northern dominated national assembly has been clamping down on it. Every sensible Nigerian knows this is the only solution to Nigeria's woes - in that case, having a Buhari or Tinubu as president will not have as much impact

Yes I agree with you on Kano performance in this year National sport Festivals. They did poorly despite abundance young talented population. Instead of the government to spend millions of naira on sponsoring mass weddings. Someone close to these politicians should tell them to use the money to train these young almajiri bois in different sports and programs. Can't they see or hear how much saudi arabia is paying Benzeama, Ronaldo, Mani, Neyma etc. For playing football in there league??

On election rigging, pls set a watch upon your tongue 👅. Every state rig election in Nigeria. Rigging is not a one state affairs. So be honest and tackle all states of the federation over election matters.

quote author=Felix6 post=126120420]Kano with their inflated and fraudulent population figures. All for election rigging. North really needs to have a separate country. The set backs are colossal.[/quote]

. It doesn't matter brother, let's tune down on this tribalism, at least Lagos didn't deny them participation and their thriving can also be directly or indirectly linked to staying in Lagos.

The basic needs of humans existence and everything needed to build both capital and humans resources are well within power of states and local governments to implement.

Education, health, commerce and industry, sports, entertainment, infrastructure, agriculture, culture and tourism, security to some extent and most recently power generation are all in cucurent list.

So tell me why must you always focus on federal government instead of holding your state governors and local governments authorities responsible? You talked about resources control, fine, and that is absolutely necessary to achieve true federalism but what has your governors being doing with billions of monthly allocation from federal account? Must it always be "natural resources "? What about humans and other capital resources that these highly corrupt governors failed to invest in to generate income for their states? Can federal government do anything for you withiout passing through your state governors?

The last time I checked, no law has ever prevented any state governor to start a business, pay his unemployed indigenes, take care of elders and children, built affordable estates, invest heavily in agriculture for food surplus, give free health care and education. So tell me why you have to neglect those taking money from Federal accounts to cater for your needs but keep blaming the same FG?

We need to thoroughly educate our youths on the important of their state and local governments system in their lives. These are the people mandated to take care of your community needs and not federal government. Infact we don't have much business with federal government. The only time we should apportion blame to FG is when they fail to give our state what it deserved.

Are you a joker? Do you know how much it takes for governance? States don't have enough funds to do all these things. For example, tell me any state in Nigeria that can fund state police or generate own electricity by themselves from the federal allocation? They're not doing business because they know that at the end of the day, they'll share from the common wealth. Put all these responsibilities on states and see how they must sit up or perish. If State A starts performing at optimal, state B will sit up or face the wrath of their citizens. There would be more and the non innovative states would be exposed

Stop being so emotional. And call a spade by its name and not a big spoon. What is the population of Kano compared to those states you mentioned. Kano just have to rely less on politics.

South South leads.

All states in the top 11 except Cross River. 3 states in top 4.

South West also did very well. All states in the top 20.
