Our company, BIOMEDICAL LIMITED, one of the leading pharmaceutical manufacturing companies based in Ilorin, Kwara state seeks applications from suitable, qualified and experienced candidates to fill the vacancies below;


a. FACTORY MANAGER/ SUPERINTENDENT PHARMACIST
The Role:
1. Responsible for day-to-day running of the factory in all aspects and revising and assuring targets are met.
2. Ensures implementation of company quality management system to effect current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP).
3. Ensures optimum capacity utilization in the plant.
4. Manufacturing and material usage
5. Authorizes products manufacture.
6. Ensures that on job training and development of personnel is conducted as planned
7. Responsible for registering the company premises and carries out regulation as contained in the chapter 152 of the Pharmacy Law and ensures annual licence for Pharmacists are in current status
8. Ensure good communication with all departments to enhance productivity.
9. Regularly liaise with Health Authorities and advises Management accordingly
10. Responsible for Registration of all company’s products with Regulatory Authorities.
11. Liaise with bodies such as the Pharmaceutical Group of the Manufacturers, Association of Nigeria (PMGMAN), National Agency for Food Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC), The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS), and Federal and State Ministries of Health.
12. Attend to product registration, product licenses & relevant regulatory Matters.
13. Carry out other function(s) within or outside the factory as may be assigned by management.
14. Report directly to the Executive Director – Technical.

Requirements;
 The candidate must be 40 years and above
 Must possess B.pharm with valid PCN Practicing license.
 Must have a minimum of 15 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical production line
 Adequate knowledge of all the products line formulations and production including syrup, Infusions and tableting.
 Adequate Knowledge of products dozier preparations.

b. SUPERINTENDENT PHARMACIST LAGOS REGION OFFICE
The Role:
1. Registration of premises with the Pharmacists council of Nigeria (PCN).
2. Prepare, review and adhere to registration matters and requirements as laid down by the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria (PCN) and other local regulatory guidelines.
3. Ensure timely annual license renewals according to the requirements of the Pharmacist Council of Nigeria and other local health authority guidelines.
4. Monitor the release and constantly update records of received products.
5. Act as a liaising executive of Biomedical Ltd with local pharmaceutical authorities.
6. Ensure all health products received are of good quality and are still consumable.
7. Liaise and maintain good working relationships with the local health regulatory bodies.
8. Retain overall professional accountability for and eliminate errors of the pharmaceutical aspects of our sales administration & marketing operations.
9. Train team members on the conformity to pharmaceutical matters (Good Distribution Practice) in logistic operations, sales & marketing activities.
10. Ensure total compliance to Good Distribution Practice and assess the pharmaceutical risk linked to sales & marketing operations.
11. Ensure the pharmaceutical sales operations & Distribution Chain Management activities are in line with official requirements for quality, legal stipulations, and environmental policies.
12. Act as a representative of Biomedical Ltd with healthcare delivery centers/service providers (government institutions, hospitals, Drug Agencies/MDGs & local pharmaceutical authorities; to ensure healthy, cordial, interpersonal, professional and business relationship.
13. Function as a marketing staff, to execute demand generation strategies as laid out in our global business plan.
14. To generate orders/LPOs & achieve institutional sales target as allocated for the sales zone
15. Other duties as assigned by the Executive Management.
16. Ensure customer complaints are resolved
17. Report directly to the Marketing Manager.

Requirements;
 The right candidate must possess B.pharm with valid PCN practicing license.
 Must have three years post NYSC experience


c. HEAD, QUALITY CONTROL

The Role
1. To ensure that the manufacturing production lines run smoothly and generate a consistently suitable output of products that meet quality.
2. To coordinates employee and communicate between the Production teams, Quality Assurance Manager and the E.D Technical.
3. Devising ways to improve the manufacturing process, reviewing new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and training staff to use them.
4. To set the standard requirements for raw materials from suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
5. To ensure cGMP rules/ obligations are adequately followed.
6. To ensure the laboratory and production equipment are calibrated as at when due.
7. Signs all Standard Operating Procedures and other QA/QC documents.
8. Ensures Stability Testing of Finished Products.
9. Checks for updates in Pharmacopoeias and approves final specifications.
10. Serves as a member of Research and Development Committee and conducts tests on new formulations to evaluate the quality of products.
11. To oversee the Chemical/Microbiological analysis of the company’s raw materials, packaging materials, In-process and finished products are conducted with approved.
12. Keeping accurate documentation and performing statistical analysis which involves collecting and scrutinizing every data /test results.
13. Assisting in self-inspection of the factory
14. Operational knowledge of analytical instrumentation like HPLC, UV-VIS equipment, Flame photometer etc.
15. Proficiency in computer.
16. Report directly to Quality Assurance Manager
Requirements.
Must possess a minimum of B.sc/HND in Chemistry, Biochemistry or Industrial chemistry.
Must have a minimum of Five years post NYSC experience in the pharmaceutical Industry.

d. Chemists:
a. Applicants must possess B.Sc./HND in pure chemistry, Biochemistry with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in pharmaceutical industry.
b. Operational knowledge of analytical instrumentation like HPLC, UV-VIS equipment, Flame photometer etc.
c. Proficiency in computer.
