The authenticity of President Tinubu’s certificate obtained from Chicago State University (CSU), has been a controversial topic in his election as Nigeria’s president.

CSU which found itself in the middle Nigeria’s election disputes amidst certificate forgery allegations, has released President Bola Tinubu’s certificate.

The request for the release was made by Atiku, who ran as the presidential candidate for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Nigeria’s February 25th presidential election. He had sought these documents to support his claim of CSU certificate forgery against Tinubu. However, his case was dismissed by Nigeria’s presidential election court in Atiku’s lawsuit challenging Tinubu’s election victory.
