The writer clearly stated that there are four companies involved in the contracts but decided to dwell his criticism on two simply because they are owned by Northerners. To balance his report he should have explained that the other two are owned by Southerners.

Where is Asari Dokubo and so called Niger Delta campaigners on the latest development.

They now see who are their real oppressors and masters of their oil wealth. They always spotlight on wrong people and region as their nemesis.

Let the country be restructured to give it a true resemblance of federalism. Not what we are experiencing now.

Oilserv is the only oil company that is into servicing and repairs in oil industry. They got the contract based on merit. MRS and AA Rano are just petroleum products marketers. What they do is to buy and sell fuel, diesel, and kerosene. What do they know about pipeline repairs and maintenance? They were given the contracts based on political reasons and corruption. They will now go and start looking for the actual oil servicing companies that will do the project repairs.
