The Iron Dome is a short-range missile and artillery defense system, with an operating window between four and 70 kilometers. It was specifically designed to protect populated Israeli areas from missile attacks from nearby countries.

LEADERSHIP reports that the Palestinian militant group, Hamas, with Iran’s backing, launched a massive surprise attack on Israel on Saturday, October 7, 2023, from Gaza, with land invasions, amphibious assaults, and airdrops with motorized gliders. During this attack and the ensuing Israeli counter-attack, about 900 Israelis and Palestinians have been killed so far.

This attack on Israel was led by massive salvos of over 5,000 rockets and artillery in 20 minutes.

The unfortunate thing is the Iran govt will come out and deny involvement in this attack.
Two,it was not that the Israeli did not have an idea but whoever that had the information refused to divuldte thinking it was impossible.just like 9 11.
Third,it was a simple strategy,throw in the rocket to the weakest points of the iron drome and breach the security on multiple points at the same time.

The first three they executed.it is the negative reaction to this provocation by the hamas and finally ending by been branded as a terrorist organisation(that is what is where they find themselves now)
