Transporter should please take precautions.

There vehicles, condition of bus and tyre should be regularly checked by the authority involved. Unfortunately, with #50/#100, the said authorities will look the other way.

Most commercial bus doesn't have even FIRE EXTINGUISHER. Yet, our road safety will be eyeing private car owners.

We sure do have a VERY long way to go.

Are buses and cars in other countries required to carry fire extinguishers? If no ... try to come up with a good reason why they should in Nigeria. Have you ever seen or heard of a vehicle on fire and the fire extinguisher was used to save lives? ... or how often used to even save the vehicle from being engulfed in flames? Vehicle on fire ... worldwide.... get out and keep away from it because it can explode at any moment. We do have a long WAY to go.

@ topic .... every accident... same speech ... cause of crash. .. over speeding. Never the driver was high on drugs or alcohol ... never a blow out due to bad or over inflated tyre .... never because of mechanical issues .... or the vehicle was not road worthy... always the same script ... overspeeding. And we wonder why these types of fatal
accidents are not reducing.
