Hamas threatens to ‘broadcast’ hostage executions following Israeli airstrikes on Gaza

Hamas has warned it will begin broadcasting the execution of hostages if Israel targets “innocent civilians" by continuing to bomb the Gaza Strip.

The terror group said it had taken “dozens” of soldiers hostage since Saturday's surprise attack on Israel where it launched thousands of rockets and conducted air and land attacks.

Israel responded to the attacks by Hamas with a “complete siege” on Gaza as it vowed to respond with a force “like never before”.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that retaliation attacks have “only just begun,” adding that this week’s events will change the Middle East landscape forever.

The death toll from both sides has now passed 1,500.
