20230 Joseph Abu, a foremost Igala folklorist and storyteller has died. Abu’s folklore were told uniquely in songs with an old gong as the only musical instrument. Abu’s first recorded story “Etube” was waxed when Abu was only twelve years old and it turned out to be his greatest track.
