The rise in the exchange of dollar is the causes of inflation in the country.

If dollar goes up,fuel price will follow suit.

The certificate forger is yet to realize that you can’t govern nigeria via propaganda. tinubu has failed Nigeria

The plantain bandits will soon line up like puppet and start wailing tinubu till 2031

The only way we can save the naira is simple...we need to earn more dollars.

For years, I have been saying we do not have a diversifed enough economy. I said it under PDP, their geng called me Buhari supporter. I said it under APC, they called me Obi and Atkulator, and IPOB...

But dollar is now over N1000 because...quite simply.....we are not earning enough dollars.

In 2015, we should have totally removed subsides on power and petrol then...and saved money. We should have began diversifying yesterday...meaning we have to do things like regulate the mines, and fight leakages in the crude oil sector. We should have fought corruption

But no, we paid for more subsides, continued the looting, and paid for more jamboree projects.

Just as we have been doing for donkey years...even under PDP. (The debt relief and the oil boom hid the cracks).

Nigeria is not a rich country. Rich countries with stronk currencies export...manufacuted goods and services. Which they can set a price for, which means they can earn lotsa dollars. Nigeria is a poor brokeass country, with bad leaders since independence, and bad followers who want coca cola made in the USA to be sold here at one kobo per liter, regardless of the cost of producting and importing the thing.

And the current government is continuing the same old show. Subsides are back, high level of politrickal appointees, the same old show.

Nigeria will never progress until we stop thinking we can all own Ferraris at the cost of N20000 a car.

Nigerians are eminently docile and get the type of leadership and economy they deserve!

Thought they said we should watch as Tinubu ‘that did it in Lagos’ will gather the same Yoruba ‘action team’ (Cardoso, Edun, Bayo Onanuga, etc) and replicate the same ‘magic’ for ALL Nigerians to enjoy!?

Their greed, lust for power and eagerness to ‘get one over the Igbo’ is the major reason Nigeria is presently saddled with what is fast turning out to be the most useless, visionless, nepotistic, bigoted and incompetent gov’t ever assembled by mankind! My only anger is that these people can’t suffer the consequences of their stupidity alone and have to rope in other Nigerians who opted for a much better option!

no is not. We are earning dollars but the demand for it outstrips the supply. And there is no way you can enough dollars to outstrip your demand. The best way is to moderate demand, create goods and services using local currency. Do you know the cost of producing anything in nigeria is tied to a dollar. We dont even have energy to increase production. So our exports cannot compete.
