Till tomorrow I still love Stella Monye's "Oko mi ye" I know the song from A to Z

Sweet melodious song. The song hits different if you're on the road traveling and the song is being repeated on the radio

Let me go check YouTube sef .

That Stella Monyes " okor mi ye" as small as I was then, I loved the song. Some time two years ago/last year, I had it on repeat play on my phone.

Also listened to some of Funmi Adams songs. I like her "Nigeria " track so much. It brings back my childhood memories when it was being aired every Saturday morning on NTA with my mom in the kitchen making egg and tea while we wait for breakfast in the sitting watching it. Chai!

That " Nigeria go survive" song used to sound like suffer head song those days. Radio station no let person hear word that era with this song. Tufia! grin

It's just incredulous how lyrical depth and musical quality plummeted decades after.

I sometimes listen to the radio, and I wonder who writes these songs of today. undecided

One common thing I noticed? They loved Nigeria and believed it would survive and get better. How I wish they know the way we feel presently.
