Normally, every Nigerian president is supposed to be worse than his predecessor. That has been the tradition. If Bola Tinubu spends 8 years in power, someone like Yahaya Bello will likely replace him.

Nigerians will rather elect MC Oluomo like Tinubu than to vote a competent Igbo man.

Wait till his second term, when he's no longer seeking re-election. That is when you know if he'll truly work.

Most governors from the south are very useless, and their worst side is shown during second term. See the likes of Okowa of Delta, with all the huge allocations, the roads in Delta are in taters, no electricity, no public water, no great public schools and no good healthcare facility in the state (if there is, politicians won't be running to India, France and UK for any little health issue).

Look at Obaseki of Edo state. He's the very worst of them all. And the electorates who voted him are dumb as fúck. Now, erosion is causing havoc around the state capital, no electricity, no roads, no hospitals (he demolished central hospital... only specialist hospital built by Oshiomole but criticized by Obaseki is still standing), public schools are dead, the list goes on...

Look at Bayelsa, one of the states that collects huge allocation because of oil in the state... Yet Bayelsa is the poverty capital of Nigeria.... No meaningful infrastructure in the state and no serious productivity or industries in the state.

Nigerian state governors are just so dumb that they can't develop their states and make it attractive for investment... They keep mismanaging and looting public funds just so they can be worshipped by the foolish people who respect people with ill gotten wealth more than the God they claim to serve every Sunday. Yet, these crooked governors travel to other western countries and see how things are properly organised.
