The House of Representatives member representing the Federal Constituency of Fofure/Song Area of Adamawa State, Barr Hon Aliyu Wakili Boya have petition the construction company handling the road rehabilitation of Jibiro-Sarou-Belel.

Boya made a case yesterday in the floor of the house when he rise a motion of public interest to the honorable members that the rehabilitation of the road was abandoned seven years ago by the construction company.

He worried that the communities' state of economy livelihood has been crushed down over the deplorable nature of the road for many years.

Boya said the people of Jibiro, Sarou and Belel have been passing through a lot of hardships and excruciating pains over the failure of the company concern to fix road.

Boya lamented to the members that the contract awarded was fully paid but the contractor neglected the site for no reason.

He called the attention of the federal government through the ministry of works and the national assembly to as a matter of urgency treat his motion with uttermost sense of serious.

Boya urged the House to mandate a committee of works to engage the Ministry of works over the delay on the commencement of the road rehabilitation.

According to him his concern over the neglect of the road rehabilitation is because of the serious economy loss, unabated sufferings, lack of access to essentials services and significant hardships causing the people of the area to go through despite the contract awarded
