Luckysbab:Actually Gowon said it himself. He created the first 12 states remember? I know that people have exaggerated things here, but the state creation claim is correct. Plus you guys chest beat as much as us too. The thread was to celebrate Enugu, not to insult anyone. Who threw the first insult? Your people! 2 Likes

LILTJAY: Glo that was almost deregulated by NCC, they couldn't pay ncc fees, interconnect fees etc. Glo business is stormy waters. There is big trouble in Lagos economy, I went to a very busy club in ikeja owned by a yoruba man one weekend of recent. Till 10pm I and am my friends were the only customer , we had to excuse our selves. Ikeja club business is gone. The eatery owned by yorubas are running on very serious grace and very low margin. Mama Cass, tantalizer, sweet sensation are paying high premium for diesel without the patronage, one had to increase closing hours to 11 pm just to make up revenue. Ikeja eateries business is gone . 2023 final full year financial results will not be funny. End of the year will witness reduction in profits by most Lagos based businesses which will trigger reactions in stock markets and the Lagos economy. Lagos economy will take a deep dive this year , unless revenue results are being forged. Part of the reason Tinubu has been putting yorubas into the economic management team of Nigeria is to revive the Lagos economy which is crisis ridden |
